??wow

Halloween ends did not stand up to the expectations it had out of all 3 movie Halloween kills is the best Michael was a killing machine in that movie in this movie they made him look Weak and that’s so not Michael.

Overhyped mess

This is one overhyped mess of a movie. It was marketed to look like this big show down between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers and the previous two movies were building up for this final movie and showdown. However, Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are hardly even in this movie and it’s all about some guy named Corey. Oh, and there is a love story involved too. I do give props to the Director and writers for trying to do something different, but after building everything up to the final film, throwing the audience a curveball kind of left a lot of people, including myself, ultimately unsatisfied.

What Happened?

The first two films were great and then this one went completely off the rails. It’s both a terrible final chapter to the established trilogy and the Laurie Strode Saga. And don’t even get me started on the betrayal of Michael Myers here. I’ve never seen a film so bad that it seriously undermines the credibility of the people who somehow made the first two films. The only people doing their job on this one was John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, & Daniel Davies. Moustapha Akkad would have never allowed this film to happen.

Outstanding Christine-oween Finale!

Carpenter’s best score, and great choices for songs for a soundtrack. As for the movie itself, I loved the change of pace with creating something a bit different. The love story between Corey and Allyson felt real, albeit a bit rushed (the novelization fleshes this out better) and was a very special part of the DGG trilogy imo. The Frank and Laurie storyline is also quite special. I watched the movie for the tenth time last night, and it still feels fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. As a life-long Halloween series fan, I am more the pleased with this finale. Long live Corey Cunningham. ?
