Elemental (2023)
Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an original feature film set in Element City, where residents of Fire, Water, Earth and Air live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn (“The Good Dinosaur,” “Partly Cloudy” short), written by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh, produced by Denise Ream (“The Good Dinosaur,” “Cars 2”), and featuring the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade.

The movie has a great message of living your life authentically and unapologetically on your terms. We do not own our children …I was brought up being told what to do , be , and what to believe by my parents. My parents were good parents, they were told the same thing, so I won’t blame them. As a fellow reviewer said protect your kids but not from this movie but from evangelism, the church and the extreme far-right. #breakthecycle… #proudwokeness

Basicly all the current animated films and shows are sending the same messege “just because you were born as something doesn’t mean you are that thing” and it’s so frustrating how hard they are pushing these messeges on kids. What they don’t account for is the parents watching what cartoons their kids watch.

Basically just an animated ROMCOM movie. Strange choice from Disney/Pixar with same 3D animation they’ve been doing for over 20 years. Why would kids be into this?

If I could give it 0, I would. Movie’s a disaster in every aspect— even the tired, old animation style. Don’t waste your money nor your kids’ brains.
