A huge success for a rising star named Emma Stone

For its theatrical release, "Easy A" worked beautifully as a humorous, lighthearted romp to kick off the school year, and now I can't help classifying it as pretty much the perfect "iPod movie" to buy. We all need movies that make us laugh, and despite not quite succeeding as an updated version of the 2004 smash hit "Mean Girls", it comes awfully close. thanks primarily to an ideal performance from young actress Emma Stone. Indeed, she is everything the critics have praised her for repeatedly: uniquely comfortable with herself, actually capable of acting (imagine that), and best of all, a refreshing voice for anyone and everyone who has ever had to navigate the high school circuit. The film tends to lose itself at times with a liberal dose of sexual references, but then again, that isn't the most important thing if you take away the right message. What matters is that it maintains a universal appeal by not being afraid to laugh at all those personalities and petty concerns that characterize high school life today...or whenever you happened to be a teenager (because let's face it: when you ask most people what season of life they'd never want to do over, this one tops them all). Again, Stone's unassuming confidence radiates as she carries the movie, and well-known stars like Stanley Tucci, Lisa Kudrow, and Amanda Bynes round out a very likable cast. So what are you waiting for? Add it to your iPod mix, enjoy the relatability of the characters, and remember that although certain adolescent crises seem so huge when you're experiencing them for the first time, it's always nice to find the humor in them later, when you're wise enough to laugh about them. For that very reason, these types of teen comedies are welcome entertainment for older audiences as well.

I got excited when I saw the trailer for easy a because it looked hilarious, and it DEFINITELY lived up to the trailer! buy this movie because it'll be worth the money, and I guarantee you'll watch it over and over. I was cracking up throughout the whole thing, and emma stone is a great actress and nails all the lines.

Amazing!

This is not a typical high school movie. It's much more! I watched it in theater by coincidence since we missed all other movies. But turned out that the movie didn't let us stop laughing! Great movie, Emma's really good and everyone should watch it :)
