Clerks III
Clock back into the Clerks universe for writer-director Kevin Smith’s third entry of his iconic comedy series. Once again behind the counter of Quick Stop, Dante (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal (Jeff Anderson) are still hanging out with Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith), handling quirky customers, and sneaking off for rooftop hockey. But after Randal has a heart attack, he’s determined to make something of his slacker life — by shooting a movie about it! Featuring Rosario Dawson, a host of celebrity cameos, and Smith’s signature humor, Clerks III is a hilarious and nostalgic capstone to the Clerks legacy – nearly thirty years in the making.

A lot of people will probably be shocked that they didn’t know this happened. It was a fathom movie event, which means it was a theatrical event only in theaters for a short time. Clerks 3, was in my theater for a week. I caught it on the last day. It opened up with a Kevin smith introduction saying thank you and because the jay and silent bob reboot blu Ray sales, lionsgate wanted to make another movie. And decided to do a final clerks. It’s unlike the other movies. He pulled out of his real life events of death, almost dying and not wanting his career to end on his last movie before his heart attack, yoga hosiers. It gets really emotional. A lot of cameos. As of now there are no digital extras maybe they’re trying to get people to buy the blu Ray when they release in December. The credits do have a short commentary from Kevin smith on his original idea for the ending. The fathom event showed a making of but is not on the digital release as now. It could possibly change but idk how that works. It was a good watch, not as good as clerks 2 in my opinion but one of Kevin smiths best.

It sure ends the series of films, but it was really depressing. I had to watch it, since I’m a fan of the other two Clerks movies, but afterwards I was wondering what I got out of it. I was expecting a chuckle, but I probably could passed on the whole movie and been better off. Also, Jay’s teeth are looking weird!

The first clerks was good, the sequel was ok… this is a reminder that Kevin Smith jumped the shark many years ago and should really give it up. We’re going to see jay and silent bob in a nursing home in a few years, aren’t we? Can’t believe this trash still gets funding.

It was a good movie probably not as good as the first 2 but i still enjoyed it alot, just glad to see them all again its been a while.
