Slight thumbs up

Nothing amazing, but pretty entertaining. Some bits are better than others.

Bad Candy will take the throne as the ultimate Halloween great!

You won’t want to take only one with this film! Bad Candy is simply exceptional! I saw this horror anthology at a film festival and was blown away! I felt this gave me something truly new that I was craving for. Everything about this film had me sitting on the edge for more. I can’t wait to add this to my Halloween collection of greats, and show my friends at parties. The story was great! The Bad Candy clown is the main antagonist as the new bone chilling villain! With its slow hunched movements, claws it is no doubt it will become the next favorite horror villain to take the throne. Good we need fresh blood around the horror office! This quiet and menacing creature frightened me to the bone. This film seemed like it had a multimillion dollar budget as the set design seemed crazy detailed and lended to the gorgeous cinema photography. I def want to keep an eye out for these filmmakers. The acting had me truly caring about the characters. Who knew Corey Taylor from Slipknot was such a great actor. The creatures were very believable for practical FX and the fairy was my favorite! Even if you are not a fan of slasher and gore you will be a fan of Bad Candy. This film was very well made. Great job! Thank you this was refreshing!

Horrible ??

Had a open mind watching this movie. Knew it wasn’t going to be as good as trick or treat. But still gave it the benefit of the doubt. It was awful. Couldn’t even finish it. Had a weird clown and that’s pretty much the only consistency. Tales of Halloween was much better then this one. Absolutely horrible.

Bad candy is just BAD!

Waste of time and money!

Bad Candy Makes for a Bad Movie

Bad Candy wants desperately to be the next big Halloween season anthology movie. Unfortunately, there is a lot that just made it a “boring” viewing experience. There’s no sense of Halloween magic/joy, its stories didn’t really tie together in a satisfying way, it had a lot of bad acting, it had a lot of bad visual effects, it didn’t establish its own lore or keep to the lore it did create, and it had some very amateurish cinematography with a lot of YouTube style LOG color profile shots and unconvincing “day for night” segments.
