Best Alien Movie. Still needs more.

If you are picky about horror movies or get dizzy with POV-camera filming then don’t get it, that simple. But, if you love Signs or Dark Skies for the aliens, then this is a must see. Granted it starts slowish, but it picks up and after a while you are on the back of the seat, pushing yourself back waiting for the next sighting. I’d recommend you watch the trailer first, it helps the anticipation. The acting is decent, nothing fancy, not bad. The plot is simple, even though some reviews call for unrealistic decisions by the characters, the reactions and choices aren’t that bad. This IS a jump scare type movie, so be very keen on it, you can’t miss things. Not like Signs that you have to know the back story. Well made aliens. To me, an alien fan, it was worth the renting price. If you aren’t into aliens as much, skip it.

Alien Abduction review from Alien Bee

Alien Abduction is everything Dark Skies and The Fourth Kind wanted to be! This is alien horror and found footage done right, it holds nothing back and it never slows down.

NY TIMES

As on the nose as its title, Matty Beckerman's "Alien Abduction" repackages ancient legend for modern audiences in a found-footage story of streamlined efficiency. -Jeannette Catsoulis, The New York Times

Opening scene gives a good idea of quality...

It just keeps falling and falling and falling. I give these lower budget movies a real chance and I actually enjoy them from time to time. This is not one of them. No suspense. Acting? Haha yeah...sure. The best parts of the movie are in the trailer. The rest of the movie is just overly shakey camera and them saying ridiculous lines sans emotion. i gave it a shot, not for me. I say skip it, but you'll do what you want as I did regardless of a review

Fear the lights

Even though I find the found footage genre overplayed, I found this movie surprisingly fun to watch. It's got lots of scares, laughs, and suspense. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie
