better than you think

Ok there is a lot wrong. Music is over dramatic, some scenes in the movie are over the top. But telling a story that is ment to start some thing it was good. It was a good movie to lead into justise league . Second it also did what it was ment to do. Seperat it self from marvel, it did. Marvel has a serious world but dc is showing that it doesn't just have a serious world it has a dark world also and a lot of DC comics are very dark. This movies made me believe this could be a comic.

Critics

iTunes should not use Rotten Tomatoes for reviews they never get it right love this movie don't know how they can score it so low

This movie is awesome

I dont care what everybody says this is my favorite movie this year

Dawn of Justice

Yes, it was dark. But the result of the Doomsday battle was exactly on point with the story in the comics. I can't wait to see if they follow suit with the next chapter.

Not bad, but definitely not good

When I went in the theater to see this movie, I had high standards. This was Batman V Superman! For the first time on screen together! Needless to say, I walked out disappointed. Let's start with the good: Ben Affleck was an excellent Batman. (maybe the best ever?) We got some great Batman action and a cool new suit. This Batman felt motivated and brought something new to the table. Jeremy Irons also gave a great performance as Alfred. It was nice to see Alfred having his own opinions and working with Bruce, not for. Wonder Woman (played by Gal Gadot) was good as well. She had cool action scenes, she was a good Diane Prince, and she got people excited for her solo movie. Now it's time for the bad: Lex Luthor. I like Jesse Eisenberg and I commend him for committing to this character, but the character does not work. Lex Luthor is cold and calculating. He felt more like he was playing the Joker. Not only did the trailers give this one away, but nothing was changed about it after an overwhelmingly negative reaction: Doomsday. This should be epic! This should be menacing! There's a lot of should in this movie. Doomsday looked like he would have been discarded from the Phantom Menace. It's 2016. Has CGI not progressed enough that you can't make a believable doomsday? Not only that but there's a TON of plot holes. How is Superman able to carry a Kryptonite Spear without losing his parents? Why does Batman kill even if that's why he hates Superman in the first place? Why is Clark Kent never in trouble for not being at his desk? This list goes on. If Suicide Squad doesn't meet expectations, DC will be forced to cancel their lineup. They should have had one Batman solo film and Man of Steel 2 before making this one. This was supposed to be DC's Avengers and yet Avengers had 4 movies preceding it. BvS had one. All in all, this movie is a lot of could and not a lot of did.
