Seedy, unappealing, average @Furutan1
This film is very seedy, with Eastwood's character frequenting strip clubs and prostitutes. Some say he should have gotten an Oscar nomination for this film but I certainly don't see it. He is just his normal self in a repellant situation. This is just a grimy run-of-the-mill detective movie. It's okay, but it is not a film that I would watch a second time.

Excellent thriller! Clint Eastwood does a great job as Det. Wes Block. The relationship between Block and his daughters is beautifully portrayed by Eastwood, his daughter Alison, and Jenny Beck. One of Eastwood's best acted films along with Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino.
