Gahhh

Why cant we freakn rent this movie....

Ignore the haters, "Haunting" is a winner.

Belying the controversial and gimicky poster, "Haunting in CT" is a top notch, character driven thriller with a powerful dramatic throughline. Going in with low exepctations, I was genuinely taken aback at how good this movie was. It is undoubtedly one of the best supernatural thrillers in YEARS and evokes memories of classics like Poltergeist and Robert Wise's original "The Haunting". Blood loving, hack 'em slash 'em fan boys will likely pan the film for the low body count and slow burn but discriminating audiences will appreciate the character development and suspense. Even if you don't normally spark to horror films I reccomend checking this one out. It's a welcome addition a genre that's been lacking and quite possibly, a classic.

Pretty good film

It is a good film to watch and it is very interesting, but the best version is the one from the Discovery channel. I only say that because it is very accurate and the film adds more for the sake of the film. There are some aspects of it that reminds me of Amityville Horror, but this is better. The acting is good and they did a great job of telling part of the real story.

Overall pretty good!

Not my favorite, I got a lot more scared with the one from Discovery Channel. This one had good acting and even though it didn't stick to the truth alot of the times, it was a good storyline. It reminded me of Amittyville Horror, Hollywood got to it but still a good movie.

Haunting in Connecticut

Okay, so even though the story was FAKE- the real guy was a schizo and drug addict- it is a wonderful movie. Creepy at times, but in the end I was crying. Maybe I'm just a girl. I'm not sure. Great movie. Sure, the documentary was really good. I remember being a child and watching it then being scared for months. It's still good.
