The bride, Jessamyn is the ex-wife of Goldy's current romantic interest, detective Tom Schultz. Although a few squabbles among guests disrupt the rehearsal dinner, all seems to be ready and well for the actual wedding. However, the town is shocked the next morning when they find the groom dead and Jessamyn missing. To complicate matters even more, a new, tough detective with a vendetta against Tom is hired to oversee the case. Forced to take matters into their own hands, Goldy and Tom quickly rise to the task so that they can find Jessamyn before she meets Sterling's fate.
