Moving On
In this revenge comedy from Academy Award®-nominated* writer Paul Weitz, Claire (Academy Award® winner* Jane Fonda) and Evelyn (Academy Award® nominee* Lily Tomlin) are estranged friends who reunite to get even with Howard (Malcolm McDowell), the petulant widower of their recently deceased best friend. Along the way, Claire reunites with Ralph (Richard Roundtree), her great love from her younger years, as each woman must make peace with her past and learn to treasure the value of a good friend.
Just like Grace & Frankie @JRtist
I you loved them then you’ll love this. Frankie's character is not so outrageous, and Gracie isn’t so uppity but it brought back all the good feelings of seeing them on screen together-just wonderful!! And it’s good that the bad guy gets what he deserves without the good girl having to do a bad thing. He played his dirty rotten character well!!
Spoiler Warning @iPhönner
I purchased Moving On for a very close friend whose about to have her 66th birthday. The iTunes Synopsis doesn’t give spoilers, but my friend is dealing with the spoiler's aftermath some thirty-ish years later. The following is for those who suffer greatly from similar trauma. *SPOILER* My friend is very sensitive to entertainment that involves sexual assault in any way, shape or form. To this day, she continues to endure horrific panic attacks. *END SPOILER* We both enjoy Tomlin and Fonda’s teamwork and my mistake was in making an easy knee-jerk purchase. By the grace of a higher power, I learned of the trigger before she watched Moving On.
Hanoi Jane @Bones2013
Woke clap trap starring a woman who is truly guilty of sedition. I got roped into it as a movie night with my Mrs. 20 minutes in she asked if we should turn it off. She didn’t have to ask twice.
Moving on!!! Got that right @Seances 666
Won’t watch anything with woke Jane Fonda
