Beatriz At Dinner
Beatriz (Salma Hayek), an immigrant from a poor town in Mexico, has drawn on her innate kindness to build a career as a spiritual health practitioner in Los Angeles. Doug Strutt (John Lithgow) is a cutthroat, self-satisfied billionaire real estate developer. When these two opposites meet at a dinner party, their worlds collide and neither will ever be the same.
Comedy? Yeah right. @Pharmz
I saw the trailer. Saw "comedy". I thought it would be a nice light Friday night at home flick. OMG. Salma is terrific but there is no way on earth this gets any type of comedy rating. A dark film with a less than satisfying ending. Sorry I bought it.
NOT A COMEDY @Mric Unown
The GENRE states COMEDY but it's not. There is a little chuckle here and there, thats it! Not what we were looking for after a hard week and just wanted a movie date night with my wife.
Want my money back! @CJG1102
This movie was so weak on so many levels. Acting, storyline, and flow of the movie just wasn't worth a dime. Disappointed.
A Comedy....Seriously?? @Miss-Molly
In no manner of speaking is this a comedy. It is dark and sad all at once If I want to feel the way this movie made me feel I would simply turn on the news. The cast was very good but thats where the goodness stopped.
Nope!!! @Sand84
Didn't really get the story the movie is boring and it has a horrible ending!! I don't know why she did that like it makes no sense!! So disappointed because I love salma but this movie was just a waste of time and money!
