Daredevil

Director: Mark Steven Johnson
Release Date:

For Daredevil, justice is blind, and for the guilty, there's hell to pay! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner ignite dangerous sparks and nonstop thrills in this dazzling action-adventure about the newest breed of superhero. By day, blind attorney Matt Murdock (Affleck) toils for justice in Hell's Kitchen. By night, he's Daredevil, The Man Without Fear - a powerful, masked vigilante stalking the dark streets with an uncanny "radar sense" that allows him to "see" with superhuman capabilities. But when the love of his life, fiery Elektra Natchios (Garner), is targeted by New York City's ruthless Kingpin of crime (Michael Clarke Duncan) and his deadly assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell), Daredevil may be about to meet his match. Featuring Iron Man director Jon Favreau as Foggy Nelson.

The Daredevil Elektra Love Connection.

I really like this original theatrical version of Dardevil . Theres the right balance of action romance. There has been criticism about Ben Affleck acting. In his defense , Ben and Jennifer do have chemistry that works and goes somewhere. You can see he is taken with her. Even Ben and Jon Favreau friendship works for thier characters Matt/Daredevil and Foggy. They are genuinely funny. It might have looked effortless but they are right on the money. These are points that make the film watchable for me .The action is definetly there. Whats most important is that the love scene is here. It is essential that this scene be in the movie unlike the directors version(although that version gives us more back story on Lisa Tazio's murder and Kingpin as a threat.)We need this scene where they connect on the roof and then to the bedroom. When Elektra meets her fate we feel for her and Matts loss. Its the Daredevil Elektra Love connection that makes this film work. Its the main reason I liked it.

good

i love tis movie.

Average

This movie was, well, average. The acting, script and directing were all on par but there were some good action scenes that kept the movie chugging along. Entertaining middle-of-the-road superhero flick.

Ok

This is an ok movie but they could've casted someone other than Ben Affleck. Personally, don't take offence if anyone is a Ben Affleck fan but for this role it could've been played by a different actor.

How on earth...

Im curious. How does a writer, producer, whomever...pitch a script like this and get away with it. Stuff like this should be stopped before it is proofread a second time. Look, the dialouge was terrible, the story...oh by the way...What was the story? Hmmm...I am Daredevil, this is my girlfriend, she's marked for death by a crime boss and has a homicidal streak herself. Meanwhile, a professional assassin from Europe (as if no assassins live in NYC) is stalking us both. Finally, what was that little dance number in the park with Electra? That was pure garbage!!!
