All the animals at the Franklin Park Zoo love their kindhearted caretaker, Griffin Keyes (Kevin James). To keep Griffin from leaving, they decide to teach him the rules of courtship – animal style! Also featuring the voices of Cher, Nick Nolte, Adam Sandler and Sylvester Stallone.

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

If I were you, I'd actually listen to what the critics have to say this time. "Zookeeper" is, in all honesty, a painfully stupid, completely predictable, and severely misguided mess of a movie. It doesn't know whether it should appeal to little kids with its obnoxious low brow humor or to their parents with its over-the-top and entirely forgettable "romantic comedy" scenes. In addition, the writing is chock full of corny one-liners, evidently inappropriate innuendos, and painfully bad dialogue. That especially goes for the annoying talking zoo animals (most of whom leave little impression and serve no purpose to the story whatsoever). Seriously, what were Cher, Nick Nolte, and Sylvester Stallone thinking when they agreed to be a part of this dreck? More importantly, why does Kevin James have to consistently star in such terrible family films like this in the first place? Okay, maybe the most likely reason is that he wants to make flicks that both kids and their parents can enjoy together, but that doesn't mean they can't be hilariously clever or emotionally enriching at the same time. It's a real shame because James is an extremely talented comedian. It's just that with every unfunny formulaic "comedy" he stars in, the brilliant humor he once portrayed on "King of Queens" (which is one of my all-time favorite shows) seems to be slowly fading away. Anyway, if you actually do want to keep all your brain cells intact, don't even think about buying or even renting this bland mess. It's just not worth it. If you really want to see a good "talking animal" movie, I suggest you check out "Dr. Dolittle" starring Eddie Murphy. Now that's a good comedy!

Love Zookeeper!

Okay, I honestly don't understand why so many people are dogging this movie! It was supposed to be for little kids and it was still a good movie overall! Even though the plot was kinda predictable, it was still a good movie, which is why I'm giving it five stars!

Great Family Film!

We actually saw this movie in the theater and thought it was great! It isn't an oscar contender but it is definitely not a waste of money. The kids will really love it and if you enjoy innocent comedy, you will enjoy this film.
