Cry Macho
Based on the book, “Cry Macho” stars Clint Eastwood as a one‐time rodeo star and washed up horse breeder who, in 1978, takes a job from an ex‐boss to bring the man’s young son home and away from his alcoholic mom. Crossing rural Mexico on their back way to Texas, the unlikely pair faces an unexpectedly challenging journey, during which the world‐weary horseman may find his own sense of redemption through teaching the boy what it means to be a good man.

Started off well but never materialized. This movie would trend up and I’d be expecting a big payoff then nothing happens… this movie is mEh.

I’ve been a life long fan of Eastwood, because his width and breath of creating stories, often defying anything on either side of the spectrum. I firmly love him for the human element, experimenting to the extremes on either side, as mush as the Bridges of Madison County, and as tough as… well, pick one. This movie however, not necessarily his best movie, is his most beautiful recap of a life worth lived. I cried, and I don’t cry in movies. I cried for the Filemaker going all the way as a human being - “this macho thing, is well overrated.” I wish I could shake his hand just once, because in my lifetime, this one man went all the way!

I was surprised by such a bad movie . Thought Clint E is in must be good . Whole movie doesn’t make sense at all . Don’t waste your money.

It's as if they are reading, word for word, the dialogue from a work of fiction written for adolescent boys. I mean, it's not just bad, it's absolutely unrealistic and not in a, 'suspend disbelief for the fun of it', sort of way. It's just poor...and boring. I paid six dollars for it. This movie is not even worth a .99 cent rental because using your precious time doing anything else is more worthwhile.

I usually look forward to an Eastwood flick. But OMG this one sucked. Don’t even bother renting, complete waste of time.
