A Wrinkle In Time (2018)
From Disney and Director Ava DuVernay comes the epic adventure A Wrinkle In Time. After the disappearance of Meg Murry’s scientist father, three celestials—Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Who—journey to Earth to help Meg search for him. Traveling via a wrinkling of time and space known as tessering, they are transported to worlds beyond their imagination, where they are confronted by an evil force. To make it home, Meg must face the darkness within herself and find the strength to defeat the darkness enveloping the Universe.

After reading the book, I thought this movie would be better. I was really disappointed. First, the whole Veronica thing. That was a small part in the book, and they basically made the whole movie on that. Second, the beasts! In the book, there was a HUGE part about a beast coming to Meg’s rescue after she got hurt while tessering. They hardly even hinted on the beasts! Third, the misses’ cottage. In the book, the cottage was deep down in the woods. In the movie, they found it on Meg’s street! Fourth, the whole Calvin thing. Meg didn’t meet Calvin at school. Or on her street. She met him in the woods when they were about to go into the cottage. Guess where she met him in the movie? On the street! And, fifth, Camazoz, and the darkness. The darkness was a shadow of evil spreading across the universe. The shadow was NOT IT itself! The shadow was caused by IT. And Camazoz was NOT the darkness. Camazoz was a planet behind the darkness. It was not the center. And, Reese, you have GOT to step up your game! I mean, COME ON! I loved all of your other movies, but this one kind of juggled my faith a little bit... and, yet, there is still a LOT more to complain about. I’m just SO disappointed in this movie.

This is a bad movie. Bad CGI acting is horrible even Reese can’t save this movie. The directing was just a mess feels like Disney Gave the project to Ava just for diversity. Do not waste ur time. Read the Book better

I am tied of Oprah she cannot act, but she buys her roll into these movies that are good movies would be great movies you’re someone else put play the role that she’s playing! Oprah just use your money to back great movies and stay Out of them because once you have a party in one it becomes a horror flick.

This movie was so clearly written to give a handful of women some relevance and screen time, with no thought to the story or entertainment value of the film. They very clearly picked who they wanted to recieve some awards and recognition and worked backwards from there, this was made for all the wrong reasons and is an absolute mess. A waste of some great names (Mindy!) on a weak, poorly done project.
