The Equalizer 3
Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he's done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the mafia.

Love the equalizer movies but it’s really hard to beat the first movie in the series. Nonetheless it was good but not great..

This movie might have been lost on the editing floor? After overly repititious story elements (how many times can the Italian policeman be brutalized?) we are hurdled into a “climatic” ending that feels rushed, anything but and all too easy. How did he get there? What was the plan? Did he have a car? Loose end story lines are lazily tied up before the ending credits with quick explanations. I assume it was fun to film this mediocre fare in Sicily.
