good horror for a rent

The Hills Have Eyes is an intense and gory horror that will keep you entertained the first watch trough. If you have seen lots of gory, bloody, and intense movies, than this shouldn't disturb or scare you to much. That being said, this movie is heavy on the blood and guts, and some really creepy stuff. So if you don't like that stuff, you should not watch it, because thats what it is all about. This movie is pretty good, but only fist one or two times watching it, so it is worth a rent, but not a buy.

Terrifying and relentless horror movie

This is seriously one of the craziest and scariest horror movies of this generation. Sure, it's a remake, which I've never seen (I hate seeing the original films and then having to "compare" them), but it's still an insane and brutal movie in its own right. And for once it isn't a bunch of whiny, slutty teenagers running around, but the victims are an innocent and likeable American family who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you're a horror fan, this is a must-buy, and even if you aren't, I'd still say see it (but don't watch it alone!)

The Hills Have Eyes

Sick, sadistic, and twisted; just the way I like 'em. If you liked The Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses and any of the Resident Evil movies you will like this. No detail was spared in making the mutants look as horrible as possible. Exept for one thing; none of them were albinic. Thank you Alexandre Aja for breaking the mold and not having the stereotype in this film. After watching this does anyone still support nuclear power? About fifty three minutes in Big Bob was hot. Also; you all say torture-porn like it is a bad thing.

Horrorific!

I am a big horror movie fan.. but this proved to be a bit too much for me. They take a quiet, well put together family. One that you'd meet in everyday life and throw them into the horrible storyline that is too gruesome for words. Parts of it I couldn't even watch. It's deeply disturbing. I hate seeing animals hurt... so if its hard to watch cruelty to animals.. skip this one. I will never watch again.. this is not a good horror movie... its a film made up that is disturbing and uncomfortable!

one of the best horror films

yes its disturbing, and full of gore... but that is what makes it amazing. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this movie, it's a masterpiece.
