Sick Un-American Story-less Pointless Killing

I rented this movie to re enforce and contemplate the terrible idea of a civil war in our country something we don’t want. I was hoping for some kind of story and moral of the story. The movie is just about some photographers and taking pics looking for that money shot. No morals, no meaning, no story. If there was any character development or story is was that an innocent photographer grew up and became a war photographer by becoming immune to the horror. This movie is raw and the killing is senseless and graphic. Don’t even let your kids hear this while sleeping it’s bad. Mixed with cool music you know when they try and trick you into thinking all this is cool when it’s not. I was hoping for some lesson here but there was none, just that the writers and creators clearly hate the United States and decided to glorify it. This should not be labeled an action movie this is a horror movie. Save your money and learn about the civil war.

Waste of money

This movie was a complete waste of my money. Incoherent story, dislikable characters, infeasable tactics, disjointed action sequences, and grade school special effects were more revolting than the movie.

A sandwich is $300...

Why are these photo journalists taking photos? To alert the few in isolated situations that this civil war is happening? Or to change peoples minds about civil war? I don’t think the gun-toting dudes torturing and hanging looters will suddenly change their minds about violence after seeing “graphic” photos on Reuters. Where are the photos being seen? The internet is spotty and the NY Times is a shadow of it’s former self. What is the message of this film? That civil war is bad? Got it. Or is it showing how brave and essential photo journalists are? Hmmmm… Why? There seemed to be an average looking girl who strapped C-4 to herself and blew away everything within 50 yards. I’m very confused what the point of this film is… Yes, good action scenes. Oh yeah, a sandwich is $300.

Terrible Movie

Incoherent. Depressing. There is very little storyline and what there is is predictable. The acting is subpar. The main characters are wartime journalists and their interactions with the military groups they are covering are totally implausible. This was the worst movie experience that I have had in the last several years. I rented it because of recommendations in places like the NY Times.

Really bad

Wish I would not have bought this! Garland is now a bust….
