I found the Dung Defender's secret room, but he's never there. I've approached from both angles, but his bed is always empty. Am I missing something? How do I get him to show up?

Idk why but I feel like the "Souls" bosses were meant to be a nod to Dark Souls
like they are basically saying, "did you think THAT boss was hard? THINK AGAIN!"

If you struggle with nkg, I HIGHLY recommend using the hive blood charm. If you play correctly, you only take regular hits that do 1 damage

At 2:33, if you go all the way to the right, on the other side of where Cornifer was, you can break the wall and it's a shortcut
