Pet Files: Ask the Vet with Dr. Carolyn Cannon of Millerton Veterinary Practice – June 25, 2022

Millerton Veterinary Practice

Our mission at MVP is to educate and guide individuals and families to promote and effect the best quality of life possible for their pets. This can be accomplished through a holistic perspective with consideration of each pet’s physical, mental and emotional well-being.

We look at health and disease on a continuum, involving physical, mental, and emotional aspects, all of which are influenced by diet, exercise and environmental factors. We work with our companion animal patients’ families, within the parameters of their own reality (how much time they have, their philosophies about health, what  they are able to provide in terms of food and exercise to make positive change).

A MOMENT IN WINE

Robin Hood Radio

A Moment in Wine: Bertani Valpolicella Veneto Italy 2019

My passion for wine had its roots in my art school years when I worked in the vineyards of New York’s Hudson Valley. Years later, after a three year tenure working as a taster for a national magazine, I was asked to recommend someone who could design and build a 28,000 bottle wine cellar for Lespinasse Restaurant at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. Drawing from my experience in design, construction and fine wood working, I undertook the project myself. That led to the successful installation of many residential wine cellar designs as well.
