How Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs pulled off the BEST OFFSEASON in all of college basketball!

How Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs pulled off the BEST OFFSEASON in all of college basketball!

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs have had the best offseason in all of college basketball. They returned eight scholarship players from a Sweet 16 team last year, losing only Anton Watson to graduation and two non-contributors, Luka Krajnovic and Pavle Stosic, to the transfer portal. The returning group - which includes Graham Ike, Ryan Nembhard, Ben Gregg, and Nolan Hickman, is arguably the best group of returners in the entire sport, on par with Iowa State, Kansas, and Alabama.

Michael Ajayi WITHDRAWS from NBA draft to play for Zags! | Is this Gonzaga's deepest roster ever?

Michael Ajayi WITHDRAWS from NBA draft to play for Zags! | Is this Gonzaga's deepest roster ever?

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs got more great news on Wednesday with Pepperdine transfer wing Michael Ajayi opting to withdraw from the 2024 NBA draft and instead play for the Zags next season. Ajayi has one year of eligibility remaining, and the 6'7 wing will step into the starting lineup replacing Anton Watson. Ajayi's scoring and shooting skills, length on the perimeter, and experience make him a perfect final piece to that lineup after he made the All-WCC Team last season.

Will Gonzaga Bulldogs land ANOTHER international big man? | How Ismaila Diagne fits this Zags roster

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs are in pursuit of Ismaila Diagne, a 17-year-old seven-footer from Senegal who is currently playing for Real Madrid. Diagne would fill the Zags 13th and final scholarship spot, and would add needed depth to the frontcourt while giving the program another developmental piece for the future.

Gonzaga Bulldogs land PG of the future in Braeden Smith! | How this impacts 2025 recruiting targets

Gonzaga Bulldogs land PG of the future in Braeden Smith! | How this impacts 2025 recruiting targets

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs landed Colgate guard Braeden Smith, one of the top guards remaining in the transfer portal. Smith is a native of Seattle and plans to redshirt next season, giving him two years of eligibility to start at point guard in the post Ryan Nembhard era. After Nembhard struggled in the first half of his first season with the Zags, Few decided he wanted someone to take over who has experience in the system, and convincing Smith to redshirt proves how elite this program's recruiting and player development is.

5-star guard Jalen Haralson: Next Gonzaga Bulldogs SUPERSTAR? | Does Braden Huff have NBA ceiling?

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs offered 2025 five-star guard prospect Jalen Haralson almost a year ago, but the Indiana native just now indicated he plans to visit Spokane. The No. 8 ranked player in the class, Haralson has interest from Auburn, Indiana, Duke, Kansas and others, but would be an extremely welcome addition for the Zags in the post Nembhard and Hickman era.

Who starts at SF for Gonzaga Bulldogs? Will Mark Few play a 9-man rotation? | Lineup projections!

Who starts at SF for Gonzaga Bulldogs? Will Mark Few play a 9-man rotation? | Lineup projections!

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs signed transfer portal additions Michael Ajayi, Khalif Battle, and Emmanuel Innocenti. Ajayi could still stay in the NBA draft process, but otherwise the Zags roster is set for the 2024-25 college basketball season. We project how the starting lineup, rotation, and minutes will be distributed next year if Ajayi is on the roster or if he isn't.

Zag fan must!

Andy is spot on, on his Zag takes. His analysis and breakdown of games and players is both thoughtful and intelligent. If you were a Gonzaga fan Take the time to make Andy part of your day.

The faux interview of three Zag officials is moronic. Doesn’t anyone edit or review your copy?

A must for true ZAG fans

Steven does an amazing job of always providing content that is interesting. This is not an easy task all of the off season, but he pulls it off with great ideas that are fun for ZAG fans. He knows his stuff, does a ton of research and I mean this in the nicest way…isthe ultimate ZAG NERD.
