Ever wondered if keto is good for PCOS? Today I'm sharing my opinion on keto as a diet plan for women with PCOS.
In this episode, I share the top 5 reasons why the Keto Diet is NOT good for PCOS in my opinion.
5 Reasons Why Keto Diet is NOT good for PCOS:

Keto isn't ideal for insulin resistance because of the saturated fats, making your body less metabolically efficient causing issues such as acne, weight gain, and missing periods.
Can increase cortisol ultimately resulting in inflammation and negatively affects hormones. 
Low on fiber, creating problems with eliminating healthy gut bacteria, causing bowel movement problems, creating higher estrogen levels, higher cortisol levels and increases risk for cancer.
Can lead to thyroid problems and imbalance of thyroid hormones.
Isn't sustainable long term - most important of all!
