Thankful and Proud of WBHM

Mind blowing corruption and yes, deliberate indifference to suffering and a lack of desire to truly reduce crime with policies to rehabilitate and help. It’s sick. We moved to Alabama last year and WBHM has helped me decide to stay. Thankful that you’re doing the hard work!

Great stuff on such a sad reality.

This system here in Alabama is so corrupt and broken. Thank you for shedding light on how we got here and helping listeners understand where we are going. I am really looking forward to new content and how it includes some of the more recent events: Fires set in Donaldson due to garbage not being picked up, botched execution in Holman by a historical questionable warden with a past, and PLEASE dear Lord do more pieces about the Women’s facilities and PREA.

Perfectly titled

For many of us that don’t have interaction with the penal part of our justice system, this podcast provides great insight . If you believe in our constitution, are a Christian or just want goodness in our humanity , this podcast is for you. Easy to not think about those citizens who are incarcerated but how they are treated reflects so much of who we really are. Very well done and thanks for telling this important story. Super impressive that this was Mary Scott’s first podcast. Eager to hear what is on the horizon .
