In this episode Stephanie is joined by runners and run coaches Sabrina Ehmke and Katherine Wuestenfeld to talk about our reactions to Eliza Fletcher's abduction, how her murder has impacted us, and the ways in which we are working on empowering ourselves and others on and off the run. A trigger warning as we do talk about the culture of victim blaming.
About Stephanie:

Stephanie is an RRCA (Road Runner’s Club of America) and McMillan Running certified running coach with over 10 years of running experience. Additionally, Stephanie is a yoga teacher with advanced certifications in yoga for athletes, Yoga For All, and Empowered Wisdom Yoga Nidra. Stephanie believes that to be a runner is to believe in your possibility as a human through movement. Her favorite running distance is the half marathon (13.1 miles/21 kilometers).

About Sabrina:
Sabrina is a high school psychology teacher and an RRCA Certified Running Coach with over 20 years of running experience. Her past running experiences include coaching for Girls on the Run, several years as a high school cross-country coach, and currently pursuing running all six of the World Marathon Majors - only one more to go, Tokyo! Recently, she founded the Skokie Swifters Run/Walk Club, a community running and walking group for Skokie, a city just north of Chicago, Illinois, as well as co-hosting For Your Run: The Reset, a podcast focused on the psychology and mental health aspects of the running community. Sabrina's favorite distance is 10 miles.

About Katherine:
Katherine has been an RRCA Certified Running Coach since 2018. She became a running coach so that she could help others succeed in their running journeys and began coaching with Team Sugar Runs in 2019. She loves helping athletes of all ages and abilities set goals and chase down their dreams with carefully thought-out training plans. Katherine has been running for the last 15 years covering distances on the track to the marathon and in addition to her own running is an avid fan of the professional side of the sport.
