In the Northeast, we’ve got a fascinating affair between the Jets and Patriots. New England took everything Zach Wilson fed them a few weeks ago winning at Metlife and now the Patriots have a golden opportunity to close the gap in the AFC East.

Dallas got impatient and paid for it in Green Bay while Minnesota stole one in Buffalo last week. Riding high all season, the Vikings are now tied with Philly in the hunt for the NFC’s top slot. Can Dallas forget their debacle at Lambeau and get back in gear? Kansas City sat and watched the league beat itself up because of their bye and now it gets to see a battered Chargers squad in a primetime affair. Justin Herbert and his wounded roster looked good for the first 15 minutes against San Francisco, but that horse ran out of steam in defeat. In a divisional matchup though, we’re looking for the right number because these things tend to be tight.

SF doesn’t have a QB problem but Arizona might and their win last week against the Rams doesn’t mask it. Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury aren’t moving to the same beat, but at least DeAndre Hopkins is back. Hopkins will put pressure on the 49ers defense all game long, but can Arizona’s defense make some plays of their own?
