During an attempt to sail through the Northwest Passage with his family, he noticed the amount of trash heaps and unsustainable heating practices at whaling communities. Having a background in product development, he decided to found Ignik Outdoors, a company dedicated to replacing disposable products like green propane bottles with more sustainable solutions.
