New Orleans Saints Expected To Host Justin Simmons, Deal Not Impossible

The New Orleans Saints are expected to host safety Justin Simmons, which would be a huge signing for the team. Signing Simmons would be another example of the team improving when it gets its chances, no matter how solid they may feel at a given position. He would fit it right next to Tyrann Mathieu as the immediate starter and provide a guy like Jordan Howden with another veteran mentor like Mathieu and Johnathan Abram. Joe Woods, Marcus Robertson and Dennis Allen all have the necessary connections with Simmons to get a deal done and the team has the roster role to offer him as well. If he takes a one year deal in New Orleans, the Saints defense would make him look even better as he heads into the market again next offseason.
