Arizona Cardinals Monti Ossenfort Cannot Change Course

Arizona Cardinals will suffer with BJ Ojulari now on IR and to miss the entire 2024 season after tearing his ACL during training camp late last week. After showing great bursts towards the end of his rookie season, Ojulari was set to be the lead pass rusher for the Cardinals in 2024. Now that he's out for the year, the pass rush room is even more thin than it already was. Having said that, this isn't a time for Monti Ossenfort to trade for big names like Haason Reddick or Matthew Judon. It wouldn't make sense regarding how he's approached the entire rebuild. The Cardinals weren't to have a great pass rush in 2024 anyways, so it's not like they were set to be the #1 pass rush and lost their leader. Slow and steady must remain.
