Ep. 17 DuEwa recaps the 1/23 Lifetime TV biopic of rap group, Salt-N-Pepa. DuEwa discusses women in hip hop and Salt-N-Pepa's influence on the culture. DuEwa also asks questions about the biopic including Spinderella's contribution to the group.  DuEwa also talks about the interesting relationship Salt and Pepa had, and the times they seemed to go their separate ways. DuEwa recaps some of the challenges the women rappers faced including a male dominated hip hop industry, Salt's relationship with Hurby Azor, Pepa's relationship with Treach, and the ladies' disagreements with one another. DuEwa talks about the five elements of hip hop and how Salt-N-Pepa fit within the elements.
