Coaching news from around the area led by Trevor Johnson becoming only the second coach in Randall boys basketball history. Pampa softball takes down Burkburnett to be the lone remaining softball team in the area still playing. Canyon's baseball team takes down West Plains in the Regional Semis to be the only area baseball team left in the playoffs. Highland Park broke ground on new baseball and softball facilities and also named their inaugural coaches for both sports.
