239. Stay BY the TREE so your children will know where to FIND you

You have to stay at the tree, so they know where to find you!
Recently, while I was driving to Idaho, I had an impression in the morning to reach out to a friend of mine who lives in another state. I text her and asked her how she was doing and told her I was thinking about her. We then spent time texting each other. She shared with me the pain she was going through in regards to her children’s decisions to leave the church. The pain was very real. My heart went out to her. This is not the only friend that I’ve talked to who is hurting inside because of their children’s choices but while I was eating dinner with some friends the other night, one of my friends shared with me the end of a podcast that I had been listening to, and I hadn’t finished yet. The interviewee gave me great hope. I decided to do a podcast release for those parents out there and leaders who are feeling a tug-of-war and wanting to rescue their children.
