Community empowerment refers to the process of enabling communities to increase control over their lives, enabling them to represent their interests in a responsible way. It’s something easily taken for granted, so much so that we as citizens let our ownership and responsibility slip through our fingers without realizing it. Citizenship is unanimous with community, and to bridge that gap, today we have with us Fatin Bundagji.

Guest

Fatin Bundagji was a 2007 fellow of the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program and a founding member of its branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She’s the first Saudi Woman to be appointed for a leadership post at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and the first-ever female to be appointed to a position at a chamber level kingdom-wide. At the core of all her initiatives the goal is to hand over a sense of ownership and pride to Saudis and encourage upstanding citizenship.
