The Messiah, Elijah, or That Prophet- The Gospel According to John- Chapter 1 Part 2

In this portion of the Teaching, the Apostle John presents the testimony of John the Baptist.  John the Baptist speaks of Messiah, in the flesh, revealing the Almighty through Himself.   John the Baptist is calling the Israelites to repentance because the Torah is not being taught by the religious leaders.  They're teaching the traditions of the Elders that had been passed down from generation to generation. When John the Baptist came baptizing in the Jordan, word got out to the religious leaders who sent Priests and Levites to enquire if John was one of those whom they anticipated was to come: They were looking for the Messiah. They were looking for Elijah. They were looking for That Prophet.  Join us as we listen in to John the Baptist’s conversation with the Priests and Levites, and discuss the distinction between those who were anointed, and The Anointed One.
