Will Bengals finally draft a first-round defensive lineman in NFL Draft 2023? Strictly Stripes Podcast

Release Date:

History has not favored the Bengals selecting a defensive line early in the draft.
Cincinnati hasn't selected a defensive lineman in the first round in over two decades. Whether that's purely coincidental or exactly how the team has planned for the future, there's been mixed results from that process.
From landing star studded Pro Bowlers like Carlos Dunlap to mid-round players not panning out as planned, the Bengals have banked on finding success with mid-round talent and the draft.
However, that plan might not be what the Bengals need for long term success. Or, is it?
The Strictly Stripes crew explains whether the Bengals need to change the course of their draft trajectory at defensive line. If the Bengals do indeed make an early splash, they look at guys who just might fit the bill in 2023.
This podcast features Mohammad Ahmad, Andrew Gillis and Michael Niziolek.
