The Cincinnati Bengals made a long-awaited splash in free agency.
After being relatively hum for most of the free agency period, the Bengals open the new league year with a bang. They add a strong piece to the offensive line by adding former Chiefs tackle Orlando Brown Jr. on a massive $64 million deal on Wednesday night.
The addition of Brown Jr. completes the puzzle of a jumbled offensive line that the Bengals have tried to put together effectively in the Joe Burrow era. However, with how many times Burrow has been sacked entering the league, and how close the Bengals have come to winning a Super Bowl, Cincinnati's front office is not taking any more half measures.
There's still more questions that need to be answered, like what the transition of Brown at left tackle means for current left tackle Jonah Williams. Furthermore, is La'el Collins' job still safe in the meantime? What about the rest of the depth on the offensive line? How does that play into this year's NFL Draft?
