Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow still hasn't had quite the perfect offseason yet.
His rookie year featured COVID-19 protocols and restrictions before he tore his ACL later that season. That impacted his ability to train and prepare for the 2021 season even though he went on to be named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
All seemed to go well heading into 2022 until he had to have an appendectomy that caused him to miss the preseason. That certainly might've hindered him as he had an 0-2 start to the season before finding his groove.
What does Burrow need to do to have the perfect offseason to have another stronger showing in 2023?
Aside from obvious areas that he can watch on film, like his tipped passes at the line of scrimmage, there might be other areas that will help him breathe in the pocket in terms of avoiding sacks and being more fluid.
