Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder“ finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – one of self-discovery. Pros - Bale as Gor, Thor with the GOTG, Goat Boat!!, The visuals, Fun lighthearted intentions, still more interesting than Thor: TDW. Cons - Thor is way too goofy for a man who lost a lot of people he loved and his home planet. The hammer romance was stupid. Not enough time spent on both Jane and Gor’s sub plots (we don’t even see much “god killing”) , Not enough Asguardians of the Galaxy, too many jokes and they don’t even land half the time, too much Korg, Valkyrie doesn’t really have a sub plot, and the tone goes from fun and jokey to dead serious on a dime. All in all this movie is definitely not on the same level as Ragnorok and has a kind of skippable quality to it but it’s not completely dull and there’s ENOUGH going on to keep you amused ENOUGH

Thor: Love and Thunder is a fun and enjoyable movie in the MCU. It may be inferior to Thor: Ragnarok, but it’s by no means the worst Thor movie. It’s fun, it has Thor and Jane’s relationship at its best, the action can be exciting, and Gorr is awesome! It can be way too fast paced, explored its ideas and themes more in depth, used more of Christian Bale’s Gorr, and CGI may not be the best, but it’s still a movie that I enjoyed watching. This is a very overhated movie, and while it’s not top tier MCU, it’s by no means one of their worst.
