I think the only one that matched up to it was the 2nd one. This was better than any of the Annabel movies. The Nun was a great addition to the series. This has to be my favorite of the series so far. But a little too short for my tastes.

Did not really keep up with the different franchise but thought this was good compared to like 5 films related to this. the conjuring one was bad as the story was horrible along withe acting,annabelle was not that great either. this was the best for us in terms of plot and genre.Better than most films today. Glad it did not involve the same lame beating of the head against the door in the first. Did not contain much gore if that is what u like,as far as story and scare worth it as far as myself and family.
