A Rightful Conclusion

I would have given this movie 7/10, but since it was made by JJ who has to put the massacred story back together, I can respectively give it 9/10. The first third seems rushed, but this is understandable as JJ puts the broken pieces of Last Jedi back together. The ending makes sense and the whole movie feels like an original Star Wars movie (4-6).

AWFUL

Nothing in this movie is meaningful, the acting is sub par, none of it makes any sense in relation to the other movies. The only redeeming quality is the CGI which is beautiful. But as a whole this movie left me feeling nothing at all, there was no connection for any of the characters and you can tell that this movie was quickly put together

They ruined it

I could cry with how much they got wrong with this. They ruined the entire storyline ever of this series with using this movie. There are random new plots that don’t make sense, ludicrous writing, and too much material. It didn’t even feel like a Star Wars movie. Why complain about Last Jedi over two plot points when this movie ruined the entire franchise? I am hurting. The critics were right. Completely right

At least it’s better then the last one....

I saw Star Wars in the theatre when it was first released and have followed it since. This was far better the the Last Jedi though it would be hard to be worse then that movie. There were some good moments but there were also some pretty bad ones. Overall, I feel like they ruined the story with this last trilogy. I honestly wonder if this is what Lucas had in mind and if he regrets selling the rights. I would wait for the home release rather then see it in the theater if you’re on fence or if you were disappointed in the last Jedi. There are certain agendas that continue that don’t really contribute to the story but fulfill a societal expectation that permeates all things Hollywood and Disney these days.

Creative by Corporate Committee

Makes you wonder what George Lucas would have done with the sequels. For this “grand finale,” just picture a movie that bows to fans with a hashed together ending that was re-written at the last minute to play out more like Endgame. Oh yeah and the clearly forced return of Palpatine. Don’t waste your time.
