Release Date:

From Disney and Pixar comes an animated sci-fi action-adventure — the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear (voice of Chris Evans), the hero who inspired the toy. “Lightyear” follows the legendary space ranger on an intergalactic adventure alongside ambitious recruits, Izzy, Mo and Darby, and his robot companion Sox. As this motley crew embark on their toughest mission yet, they must learn to work as a team to escape the evil Zurg and his dutiful robot army who are never far behind.

A Flawed, but Decent Film

It was fine. I think this film’s problem is the fact that it’s pacing and writing is a mess. It had a strong start, but as soon as the new side characters were introduced and and that Zurg twist was explained, the film began to loose its momentum. However there are some few good things from the film that I liked. Obviously the animation looks fantastic, the voice acting was great (especially Chris Evans as Buzz), the music score is amazing, and Sox was entertaining whenever he was on screen. While it may not be as good or even as amazing as the Toy Story films and other Pixar films, this film is entertaining enough for kids and families to enjoy.

All these republican/religious nut jobs

Instead of crying that the world is moving on without you, do something productive with your lives besides whine that a cartoon doesn’t promote your outdated and discriminatory beliefs.

Terrible attempt to try to replace the original Buzz!

Bring back Tim Allen…

No Tim Allen!?

What the heck?! Buzz Lightyear IS Tim Allen… Tim Allen IS Buzz Lightyear, PERIOD

Woke trash

This movie is a disgrace to the series. Absolutely pathetic.
