Jungle Cruise
Join fan favorites Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt for the adventure of a lifetime on Disney’s “Jungle Cruise,” a rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.
Good fun! @el walto
Puzzled by all the angry (?) one star reviews. I didn’t have high expectations but was thoroughly entertained. I know Blunt and the Rock are the big stars, but Jesse Plemons (who plays the villain) stole the show for me.
Jungle Cruise @DVR415
Horrible acting save your money ?
Formulaic and political @redmaru
Plot weak, long and meandering like the Amazon. Not memorable.
Nope @fulltilted
$30 is a joke
Another Disney Flop @HistoryBuffer
Can Disney hire creative writers and directors? This movie was dumb. The story is boring and long drawn out. The rock is super corny. The bad guys are like trying to copy the last crusade with Ford..but in a bad way. Maybe a redbox flick, not worth more than a buck. Disney kills everything they touch. This was their baby. 30-40 years to plan and overnight flop. I smell what the rock is stinking. The girl almost gives it a 2 star. Overall -2.
