Decision to Leave
What happens when an object of suspicion becomes a case of obsession? Winner of Cannes Best Director in 2022, Park Chan-wook (OLDBOY, THE HANDMAIDEN) returns with a seductive romantic thriller that takes his renowned stylistic flair to dizzying new heights. When detective Hae-joon (Park Hae-il) arrives at a murder scene, he begins to suspect the dead man’s wife Seo-rae (Tang Wei) may know more than she initially lets on. But as he digs deeper into the investigation, Hae-joon finds himself trapped in a web of deception and desire, proving that the darkest mysteries lurk inside the human heart.
A stellar murder mystery, police drama @JCP Music
I really enjoyed this film. It was great to have a film that delves deep into the human psyche.
My Favorite Movie @jyroflux
I’ve watched this at least a dozen times so far. Every time I do I cry. If you pay attention you will be richly rewarded - and your heart might break. Tang Wei is incredible.
Best Movie Ever @Bigdunn22
Well maybe Top Gun Maverick is the best ever like when Goose’s son and Maverick played tonsil hockey in it. That was pure art. So yea that’s better than this movie. Actually this movie is weird and kinda stupid. So it’s probably the 3rd best movie ever. Yea, that’s it.
Headless tailless @Cccccooioo222
Much ado about nothing. Disjoined and super slow. Found it pointless
Please dub foreign movies @Vincent_Vega_junkie
Film is a visual medium. You’re supposed to be engrossed in the world before you, to empathize with characters through facial and verbal tones in voice inflections, instead you stare at words on screen & basically read a novel. Defeated the entire purpose of film as sn art form.
