Such a disappointment

I know they’re trying to sound meta with the tongue in cheek messaging throughout the movie, but it just comes off as lazy filmmaking.

garbage

no need to make this movie. Just an updated remake of the original, by the brothers who are now sisters, with a more empowering role for the female lead, and even a female lead singer covering the same song at the end of the movie. Wow, how woke, a woman empowered Matrix. Full of clips and references from the original movies, this just pretty much was just a nostalgic tugging at the heartstrings of fans of the original trilogy. Pretty much the same plot line as before, in a different order, in a cheap attempt to make a couple of more sequels. I kept waiting for it to get good and interesting, never did (and yes, I loved all three of the original trilogy). This just did not need to get made....

Ripoff

Really 30 dollars to buy and 25 to rent y’all are a joke ???

$30, for a 1-Star film? Comical.

Wait until this movie gets down to $4.99. For the love of gawd, don’t pay $30 for this train wreck.

Matrix: Rememberries

This film fails on almost all levels of what made the original so iconic and has to constantly reference the original but in the most lazy way. I honestly believe it was on purpose based on what happens in the first half of the film. You’ll need the memory wiping machine from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind after watching this lazy self referential cash grab.
