Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) is a young woman with more than her share of anxieties about flying. However, when circumstances demand she go to Miami, she gathers her nerves and books a seat on a late-night flight. Sitting next to her is a handsome and charming man named Jackson (Cillian Murphy), whom she already met in the airport, but once their jet is safely in the air, Lisa discovers he's not the pleasant traveling companion she imagined. Jackson is part of a terrorist cell plotting to kill the head of Homeland Security, and he's decided to draft Lisa into helping him. While Lisa has no interest in abetting Jackson's plan, he soon reveals he's holding a trump card — his compatriots are holding Lisa's father hostage, and will kill him if she doesn't cooperate.

Good Thriller

Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy make for great tension in this not-quite-perfect but good enough thriller.

Wes Craven was a genius

Cillian Murphy was perfect for this and Rachel macadam nails it. It’s so good at creating suspense! Definitely worth buying!

One of my favorites

I LOVE this movie. It’s a 75 minute roller coaster ride. Cillian Murphy is deliciously creepy and Rachael McAdams is wonderfully convincing as the girl who will not be victimized ever again. The pacing is tight, the suspense is gripping, the writing is good with just the right amount of dark comedy and the payoff in the last fifteen minutes of the film is so worth the price of admission. If you want to see a horror/thriller movie were the female protagonist picks up a freaking weapon and fights back, then you’ll like this. (Too many horror movies these days consist of stupid women being forced to do stupid things by a stupid script) My favorite Wes Craven movie next to Scream and Nightmare on Elm St. and woefully under appreciated.

Meh

The plot is meh. Never quite pulls off plausible nor suspends reality. It's too heavy on the bad guy drama. It reminds me of when you want a dash of salt, but the lid falls off.

Pretty good.

This movie was pretty good. Not the best movie I have seen but definately worth watching. Definately worth the 99 cents.
