Auch wenn einige mit den Hoffnungen und Träumen der Allianz sympathisieren mögen, sind diese Wanderer alt genug, um sich an die großen Raubvögel zu erinnern, die einst die Wälder kontrollierten.

Unbelievable that this man can talk so flippantly about Opium bring supplied on an enormous scale by Britain to China to pay for tea mainly and spices and silks etc. The Chinese saw the devastation and suffering Opium was causing to millions ( some estimates say ten million addicts or more were created )of their citizens and made importation of Opium illegal. The Chinese were the good guys, we surely owe them an apology for fighting two wars, easily winning both and insisting on continuing this evil trade. This superficial style of presenting history reinforces people's prejudices and contributes immensely to the disharmony in the world.
