Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song-
The original Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- included many of the SaGa series trademark elements, such as the Glimmer and Combo mechanics and was considered to be the epitome of the series when it first released.
The free scenario system that lets you create your own storyline remains at the core of the game, letting you select one of eight protagonists with completely different origins and backstories, then set off on a unique journey.
This remastered edition has evolved in all areas, featuring upgraded HD graphics and numerous enhancements to improve playability. This makes it highly recommended for both fans of the original and newcomers to the SaGa series.

SPOILERS! (but I advise you to keep reading)
Explanation: In Romancing Saga there's 8 characters. Each playthrough takes around 40 hours. Each time we get VERY little unique footage (as shown by my character videos). But apparently the big reward you get for beating all 8 characters is this almost 5 minute long cutscene showing the characters talking. And... I gotta say, a lot of people called this an EXTREME let down and really not worth beating the game so many times.... Do I agree? Is it worth playing the game for over 400 hours for this scene? .... No... I disagree with both. It's not worth playing the game through so many times for this! AND it's not a letdown!
After spending over 400 hours playing the game with (for the most part) identical cutscenes, just exchanging the main characters...... we get a cutscene where ... they're all together, talking, we get some kind of conclusion (Hawke has a........ nevermind!) and it feels awesome. But I still would not advice you people to try to get this yourself! I try playing through these scenarios and record them, to show it to you guys, so you don't need to get it yourself!
Weeeellll last thing to do now is beat 10 fatestone Saruin and I'll be done.... For a few months at least. I know I still have to record the Gray, Barbara and Jamil playthrough, but I did this much, I deserve a freaking vacation now, don't I?

I beat the remastered with all 8 characters and the ending was no different then how the characters normal ending was.
I never finished any of the original characters so not sure if you have to do something to trigger this, all i know was finished with Al as my 8th character and he did his bit and walked through the door befor being asked to save.
So is this in the remastered and i just some how skipped it ir was it removed?

I just completed the playthrough of my 8th hero recently, and it's nice to be able to watch this scene again without having to beat Saruin and watch the ending scenes again.

I still haven't beaten 10FS Saruin, and by extension haven't unlocked the extra Superbosses, though.
The status ailments and amount of turns he gets are so brutal xD

Honestly, if there's at least one type of gamer you can expect to play through all of this, even more than Megami Tensei or Dragon Quest, it's Nippon Ichi (Ex. Disgaea), and all the many bonus bosses and endings. :p Seriously, THAT'S hardcore. XD If you can do that, you can do Romancing Saga 100%, LOL. :p

I think I got through like 6 characters and never finished off the last ones. Mainly because by the 6th one it was "Screw management or long game plans like the Jewel Beast or Schirach, the main characters become "Whatever, hit the cutscenes, grind, beat the boss on a low difficulty because who cares"

I loved this. I didn't even know there would be a special ending when you finish with all 8 characters so this was a special and a bit of an emotional ending. To see all these characters who you helped get to that point, only for them to come together one final time and LEAVE TOGETHER? almost got a little teary eyed.
This game is my most favorite RPG of all time (next to Final Fantasy Tactics), and it's the game that inspired me to create a YouTube series I'm currently working on where I'm going to give this game as much love as I can (while also throwing some constructive criticism too). I really hope I do the game justice, as I love everything about this game from the painting style, the character designs, the beautiful places you visit and the colorful people you meet, to even the fantastic music.
Thank you for taking all of this time to make this video. I really loved it and it just brings back so many memories.

Well, I've read up a lot of FAQs online and bought the game with a guide. It all served me well, but people rant how they're too lazy to read stuff.... really, the remake even has in game NPCs who tell you a lot about the mechanics of the game and yet they demand more instructions. Ehhh in September I'll start posting guide videos to teach em whippersnappers a thing or two... Also thanks a bunch for subscribing! :)
