Besides the initial piece of fruit that drops, what is the benefit of getting big flowers to bloom? Does it increase the chance of expeditions in the area or something during the time of its blooming?

Another tip: If you want a big plant to bloom a specific color, you only have to plant more of that color flower than the other colors. So, if you want a blue bloom, you can drop 151 blue flowers and then mix and match the colors of the other flowers.

Thanks for the info. I'm doing a lot of walking, but was wondering if I have to plant flowers in order to be able to get expeditions? So when using the radar and seeing the decor in your area, will I have to plant around the decor or can I just walk around the area to get an expedition?
